Download the appropriate package from the download page.
Download for your operating system
Section titled “Download for your operating system”From 0.16.0 there is one download per system, always including STEP preview. The file name has
no -STEP suffix. The package is larger than the former standard variant. If you use that
variant, you receive the new package with your next in-app update.

Why does my antivirus show a warning?
Section titled “Why does my antivirus show a warning?”Antivirus programs such as Avast or AVG sometimes block new, unsigned programs as a precaution. You can check the file on VirusTotal first. Restore it from quarantine and add the installation folder as an exception.
Some antivirus programs, such as Kaspersky, can also raise a false alarm during an in-app update. Allow 3MF Katalog Manager in the antivirus program if this happens.
Uninstalling
Section titled “Uninstalling”Uninstalling removes the program, but deliberately keeps your catalog, settings and logs — so a reinstall or a manual update doesn’t lose anything. To remove everything, delete these folders afterwards (Settings → Info → “Open data folder” / “Open log folder” shows them while the app is still installed):
- Windows:
%APPDATA%\com.thebexxs.mfkatalogmanagerand%LOCALAPPDATA%\com.thebexxs.mfkatalogmanager(logs and interface cache) - macOS:
~/Library/Application Support/com.thebexxs.mfkatalogmanager,~/Library/Logs/com.thebexxs.mfkatalogmanagerand, if present,~/Library/Caches/com.thebexxs.mfkatalogmanagerand~/Library/WebKit/com.thebexxs.mfkatalogmanager - Linux:
~/.local/share/com.thebexxs.mfkatalogmanager(catalog, settings, logs) and, if present,~/.cache/com.thebexxs.mfkatalogmanager
Your model files themselves are never touched — they stay in your catalog folder.
Alternative: Docker container
Section titled “Alternative: Docker container”From 0.16.0, you can run the app on a server and use it through your browser. The Docker version is functional, but may still be unstable. The Docker guide covers installation, home-network access, uploads and backups.
